In 2011, Nguyễn Thanh Sơn (Tuy Hoa Industrial College, Phu Yen province) successfully defended his Master of Science thesis in Gelogical Engineering with the topic "Evaluation of Rock Slope Stability and Landslide Susceptibility Mapping for An Linh Commune, Tuy An District, Phu Yen Province". flatGEO Consulting Company had cooperated with MSc. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn and Dr. Phan Thi San Ha (the faculty of Geology & Petroleum Engineering, HoChiMinh City University of Technology) in data analysis and modelling in GIS.
The output of the MSc. thesis has been compiled in the article "Landslide Susceptibility Mapping Using Bayesian Conditional Probability Model at An Linh Commune, Tuy An District, Phu Yen Province, Vietnam" which is published in the proceeding of The 18th International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. This conference takes place at Paris, France from Sep. 6 to 9, 2013.

flatGEO Consulting Company has cooperated with Dr. Kieu Le Thuy Chung and Dr. Phan Thi San Ha (the faculty of Geology & Petroleum Engineering, HoChiMinh City University of Technology) to carry out a research on application of Kriging method to optimize the geotechnical investigation plan.
The output of this research is compiled in the article “A Case Study on Optimizing the Geotechnical Site Investigation Using Kriging Method” published in the proceeding of The Third International Conference on Geotechnique, Construction Materials and Environment (Geomate). This conference is held in Nagoya (Japan) from Nov 13 to 15, 2013.
