Circular No. 06/2011/TT-BXD issued on June 21, 2011 described some amendments to “Regulations of approval and management of Construction Laboratories” following the Decision No. 11/2008/QĐ-BXD:

Article 5, Item 2 : After one year of operation, the Laboratory must achieve an ISO 9001:2000 or ISO/IEC 17025 certification and this quality management system should be kept alive in Laboratories.

Article 7, Item 3 : Laboratories already achieved the Laboratory Accredited System (LAS) certificate before the effective date of this Circular do not need to renew the certificate after a period of operation.

Article 8 : This Circular takes effect45 days after its issuance.
